WHY should i seal my grout?
Sealing your grout is the only long-term solution to keeping it looking it’s best. You could give it a good clean and get it looking decent, however cleaning won’t offer the same color-consistency the sealers offer.
Do i have to remove the existing grout?
No! Grout removal is only required in extreme cases of mold damage, or grout that protrudes from the tile itself. Even if your grout is weakened or soft, our sealer will fortify and strengthen it.
should i use vineagar/bleach/steam to clean my floor?
No! Whether your grout is sealed or not, these cleaning methods are harmful to your grout. Bleach will eventually cause discoloration. Vinegar and steam will eventually break down your grout and make it soft and brittle.
How long does the sealer take to dry?
Our sealer takes approximately 20 minutes to dry. Once dry, furniture can go back in place, including rugs. We take care of moving furniture off and back on the floors; finishing most jobs within one day’s time to give you your home back without disruption.
